CONTENDOR is an easy-to-apply insecticide that works as both a contact and systemic treatment, providing effective control of a wide range of common plant pests. Ideal for use on flowers, shrubs, trees, fruit trees, and vegetables in the home garden.

🌿 Where & How to Use

🌹 Roses

Pests: Aphids, Hibiscus Flower Beetle, Long-tailed Mealybugs, Psyllids, Soft Scales

  • Spray foliage thoroughly at first sign of pests or if they reappear

  • Ensure coverage of undersides of leaves

  • Hibiscus flower beetle: spray buds and flowers as needed

  • Long-tailed mealybugs: 3 sprays, 2 weeks apart

  • Psyllids: spray at first sign, then again 1 week later

  • Soft scales: spray in late spring or when small scales appear; 3 sprays, 2 weeks apart

  • Best applied in the morning with little wind and low heat

  • Avoid spraying flowers in full sun to prevent possible petal marking
