Our 200mm Deep Black Hanging Basket combines a deep 3.2 litre growing bowl, clever water-saving base and extra strong 430mm heavy-duty hanger.

The saucerless water-well design helps retain moisture for your plants without requiring an attached saucer, while the deep bowl provides plenty of room for healthy root development.

Ideal for home gardeners as well as wholesale and retail nursery production.

💧 Water-Well Saucerless Base

The clever water-saving design features a single raised drainage hole in the bottom of the basket.

Because the drainage point is raised above the base, a small reservoir of water can remain below the drainage level, providing additional moisture for the growing media.

Once the reservoir reaches the height of the drainage hole, excess water can escape.

This design provides the benefits of a water reservoir without requiring an attached saucer.

Nursery growers have found that normal potting mixes do not generally escape through the opening, although very fine materials such as sand or fine peat may do so.
